Countdown To New Broken Social Scene Album Release
It will be Broken Social Scene’s first full length album in five years, and “Forgiveness Rock Record” is set to be released on May 4, 2010. The first song, “World Sick” is now available for download via their official website, brokensocialscene.ca.
Broken Social Scene [BSS] was formed in 1999 by Kevin Drew and Brendan Canning. The Canadian Indie rock band is a six to as many as nineteen member collaborative musical effort. All of the current members play in BSS in addition to solo projects and participation in other various groups. The band members do not consider themselves a supergroup — they are simply embracing the idea that as a musician you don’t need to limit yourself because you are a part of a band, an idea that is common in the indie music scene.
